Foods That Can Cause Stomach Ache

Some of the characteristic features of the primary person is experiencing indigestion, abdominal bloating, frequent belching and discomfort after eating. According to research American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), found that 95 million Americans suffer from bad digestion system.

According to one of the triggers ACG digestive disorders is improper food processing, such as cooking meals with suha that are too high. In addition to eliminating enzymes that are useful for the digestive process to cook with too high temperatures can also lead to premature aging.

Dr. Steven Lamm from NYU Medical Center, said those who suffer from sensitive stomach like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), heartburn, acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease known as prone to react to certain foods and drinks.


Food and drink to avoid are:
  1. Food and drinks that contain lots of gas and too much fiber, among others, certain vegetables (mustard greens, cabbage), certain fruits (jackfruit, green banana), certain fibrous foods (kedondong, dried fruit), beverages containing gas (such as soft drinks).
  2. Drinks that stimulate gastric acid expenses among others: coffee, alcoholic beverages 5-20%, white wine, citrus juice, milk.
  3. Foods that are directly damaging the stomach wall that is foods that contain vinegar and spicy, pepper and spices that stimulates.
  4. Foods that are difficult to digest that can slow gastric emptying. Because this can cause increased stretch in the stomach that eventually can increase stomach acid include fatty foods, cake, chocolate and cheese.
  5. Foods that weaken the lower esophageal valve causing gastric fluid to rise into the esophagus include alcohol, chocolate, high-fat foods, fried foods.
