Smoother skin
Try grapefruit consumption. Pink hue of this fruit contains lycopene, a carotenoid that helps maintain skin smoothness.


In a study published in European Journal of Farmacy and Biopharmaceutics in 2008, researchers found that those who have skin with a high concentration of lycopene have smoother skin. You can also get lycopene from tomatoes, carrots, watermelon, guava, and red peppers.

Moisturize dry skin
Consumption of foods rich in vitamin C, such as strawberries, to help counteract the dryness associated with age, including wrinkles. Research in 2007 in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition said that the effect of vitamin C to soften and moisturize the skin.

That's because the ability to eliminate free radicals from UV rays and also its role in the synthesis of collagen, a fibrous protein that keeps skin elasticity.
